Evenin' everyone,
Well it's been nice to read that I am not alone in my yearning for new
material from the band. My Live in Cheltenham and Altitude purchases have
been a direct result of joining this forum. So Steve's wonderful mailing
list does give a bit back to the band even if there's cons aswel as pros
I still get a shiver when my one of the members of this brilliant bunch of
musicians feeds our appetite for news of their goings on directly. Chris
you're a star to us in more ways than one.
The vinyl v cd debates is interesting. I drummed in a band which even ten
years ago was trying to keep putting stuff out only on 7" and we released
a compilation cd after 5 eps. I just hoped that everything gig only and/or
limited edition that the Aeroplanes did would end up on a volume of the
Friendloverplane series of albums eventually. I'm in no rush.
Oh, and I can't attend on the second as I'm going to be recovering from a
minor surgery. Since it'd be impossible not to dance at the gig I'd better
wait for the one at xmas.
Nigel
