Another stunning night's work, and a reasonably good turn out given the
proximity of the Festivities.
They may have ferggled the running order from the previous night, but I
couldn't tell you in which way, only that everything seems to have been
there.
The reprise of Severn Beach into the rep, so much meatier than the FLP
version, is a masterstroke.
The high octane 25 Kinds of Love also stands out on second hearing. Can't
figure out whether it'll make it on to the album, but in any case,
Gerard's simple comment on the reaction it got was
'It's a Hit !'
Very dry. It could've made it on to TOTP, only.......................
Interesting that the Aeros have outlived the old Leviathan, but judging by
the tightness of the band over two nights, from a standing start, I'd
hazard a guess that they'd done the hours in rehearsal, which is good news
with a tour mooted in the Spring.
Lingered for a while afterwards, with Chris from the list.Gerard seemed
very upbeat, about the evening and the future. Max, too, was very pleased
with the nights endeavours.
We missed the last Tube.
