Yes, an accomplished set of old and new. Everyone seemed very relaxed,
and
I think that does some of the standards a favour. It's a respect thang.
'Bury Your Love Like Treasure' stands out as a terrific opener, then
'Raise The Roof'. I get a bit tardy with set lists, and didn't reckognise
'Severn Beach', but 'Starlings' and Beautiful Is' worked really well, as
did
'25 kinds...'.

Gerard is a different kind of beast on the 'Fiddlers' stage, but then
it's
always nice to play at home.
The gig afforded me another excuse to visit Bristol, of which I have
become much enamoured. Good to see you again Paul, and good to know there
was the full brace of PV's there. So rude of Gerard to start playing just as
you were to introduce me to No.2.

Rounded the trip off this morning on the fabled 'Christmas Steps'. Just
about the best Full English Breakfast, in that French Cafe down the bottom.

Now does THAT make any sense ?

  Bon Fetes everyone

  Gordon

Steve Thomas; Unless you are already sorted, contact me, offsite if you
want, I got you No.9
