Dear All
These are my questions.
What precisely is the provenance of the backing music on 'Lit'?
When Gerard performed in Bristol, did the guitarist emulate the music of
'Lit' or had he made something else up?
Why some of the Aeroplanes stuff but not others? (I mean, surely there are
other tracks where poems are recited, like the last track on 'Spitting out
Miracles'?)
Wasn't that thing with Ian Kearey - which I heard once when Frank O'Connor
played it to me - wasn't that full of this kind of caper?
Who are those bands I've never heard of (ie not REM or Bob Dylan or Love)?
When Gerard performed with the 'other band' in Bristol (a putative second
volume), what did he choose?
Has anyone heard of W S Graham?
Why not?
And, finally, will that do?
Thanks
Philip
PS The Neruda is probably the stand out track, isn't it?
