Well I can answer two:
The guitarist and band at the gig played original stuff, much of it being
improvised.
That thing with Ian Kearey was called 'Siamese Boyfriends' and was a bit
like this except that (as far as I know) it was mostly original poetry. It
did feature a version of 'Dear Though The Night Is Gone', however.

P.S. The cummings track with REM backing is my fave.
