Wow. What a gig.
Like some others apparently, I too was taken somewhat by surprise at the
time which the Aeroplanes came on, and had only had time for a single
drink
before the introduction to Broken came floating up from downstairs.
As mentioned, the atmosphere started off okay, and by the end of the night
was electric.

The band were up for it. The crowd were up for it. Wojtek was up for it!

The crowd definitely got into it more as the night went on - my exuberant
efforts led my accompanying friends to describe me as "a flailing ball of
yellow". Not sure if that's a compliment or not! :)

Danced to Stones, swayed to Jack Leaves and bounced to Breaking In My
Heart.

I think the band sensed the energy in the audience, and slipped in
Detective
Song to my intense joy.

Sorely tempted to make the trip down to Bristol.....

When's the next tour?! :)

ben.
