What a state to be in

While you guys all talk about the wonderful concerts that you have been
to see, Kate and I will talk about the places we've been and the things
we've
seen. I'm wearing green today and it matches my skin colour.

Well, I stayed in Cresskill when I first arrived in the good ol' US of A

(God bless it), and then I moved to Hoboken for a year or so.
Incidentally, the name Hoboken originates from an old Indian term
'Habaccus Haboken' which translates to tobacco pipe. The first ever
game of baseball was played on the Elysian Fields in Hoboken between
some American townballers (a precursor of baseball) and an English
cricket team. For once, an English cricket team managed to win!
Actually, it was a slaughter, it was something like 14-1.

Frank Sinatra grew up in Hoboken one block away from where I lived,
Chicago isn't really 'his kind of town'.

Just a bit of history for y'all.

I lived in Cobble Hill for about 6 months and Park Slope/Windsor Terrace

for about 2 years. They are definitely two extremes, Cobble Hill was
full of Italians and yuppies. Park Slope was full of lesbians and
Hispanics.

Standing on the Brooklyn Bridge at 2 (or 3 or 4 or ...) in the morning
under a full moon is my favourite place in the world (so far). I have
yet to experience any moment as intoxicating, except listening to the
'planes :)

Oh good, does that mean I can throw a few more out there?

In 'Gunning The Works' on FLP it is stated that 'She knows what a
Swagger is for' - could this be where the Album title originates?

On 'Life Model', it is stated that 'There's been too much Rough Music'
or something like that (I don't have the album with me) - could this be
where the last album title originated?

Just a few thoughts.

Did you listen to 'Aeroplane Blues'? Whaddya think to my idea about
Rodney?

Kat.

P.S., Stacey: Please post your poem, I would be most interested.
Thanks.
