Re: can't love the Kinks

I've got a Summerhill single. It came in a mystery pack of 10 singles in
a
brown paper bag that I got from the local record shop one school
dinnertime
which I only bought because I could see "A new day" by Mary Margaret
O'Hara
as the top single. They sounded like a poor man's REM to me at the time.
Just out of interest (well, not very much), the other singles included Tin
Machine (bag of shite), Jermaine Stewart (likewise), some italian dance
thing and some others that I can't even remember. I only remember those
three because one was in a silver box, one had a poster of Jermaine
Stewart
and one had a pair of breasts on the cover. I'll leave it to your
imagination to figure out which were which. And I think one of Summerhill
had a dodgy mullet, but I wouldn't lay money on it. It'd fall off, for
one
thing. Right, I've rambled for long enough, I'm off to listen to
Trembling
Blue Stars.
