Damn, yes, it's a real threat. Those noise complaints would just pour in.

Inclined to concur with Steve, an objection from a London/Kent address !?

But...... Planning Applications such as this involving 'Change of Use', 
can affect all of us in the long run, and what goes down, or up, in one 
area can become a precedent for what goes down in another, so, it being a 
ridiculous idea under the circumstances, I'll see if I can enter a salient 
Objection.

Wow. That's quite a situation you have brewing over there. I would love to 
help, but I'm afraid that anything coming from someone stateside would 
probably be given about as much consideration as a facebook post.
