Re: Gig update

At a gig in the mid-90s, maybe 1994, at the Birmingham Irish Centre, the
Planes were hampered by technical difficulties. For a while, Rodney
entertained people by playing Beatles covers and Gerard claimed he could
play every Beatles song. So the first question would be: Is that really
true? Every song? Secondly, when the problems continued, Rodney threw his
Rickenbacker into the crowd, to the horror of a roadie who jumped into the
sea of arms to retrieve it ... so I guess my next question is: shouldn't he
be more careful with a Rickenbacker?
