Birmingham gigs that I went to (I'm sad enough to write all this stuff
down)... the Institute gig wasn't one of their best as I can't really
remember it either! Now the Goldwyns gig, including a phenomenal
rendition of Catscan Hist'ry, that was something else.
31-May-89 Green World Tour NEC Birmingham
25-Feb-90 Swagger Tour Burburries Birmingham
22-Oct-90 Loved Tour Goldwyns Birmingham
02-Oct-91 Beatsongs Tour The Institute Birmingham

I've got to echo every Jonathan said about the CD, great sound, great
packaging, the mock vinyl CD is fantastic. Only one complaint, it's too
short, 44 minutes!! surely there's more on the tape, and why cut out the
between songs chat, the CD is barely half full. Here's to more CD's in
the future, just make them a bit longer:)
I can't remember the Beatsongs tour at all, I'm sure I would have seen it
as I saw the Aeroplanes every time they came to Birmingham, except once
which was on a Valentines day (possibly 1990) when I was young and newly
in love and had do something more romantic :(
Can anybody tell me when and where they played in Birmingham on the
Beatsongs or any other tours. Otherwise it's a big dig around the loft to
find my old tickets.
