Top posting!

Weightless was odd in that respect but that's how it is on the album ... the clue I guess is in the title.

I also liked the mandolin/ acoustic guitar Jack Leaves. Very top.

I have never been challenged by Ann Sheldon. Pity.

I picked up the attached set list at Fiddlers, apparently from a different gig or two since neither list of songs was the set list from Friday night. I attach it mainly for those of you who are amateur guitarists and might want to note down the chords for some of the songs.

Just to add my comments on a couple of things:

- It was odd to see Angelo as the only guitarist on stage for Weightless (I'm not counting the bass). I don't remember ever seeing the Aeroplanes with one guitarist before, even for that song. That little stage looked very empty.

- I reckon Angelo started Breaking in my Heart in the wrong key deliberately, for a laugh. He seemed to shift key at the time the rest of the band came in. They wouldn't have known he was in the wrong key, so it was a foolproof plan. Or maybe he just got it wrong, but he's too good for that, isn't he? Very funny, anyway.

- I really enjoyed Rodney being back in the band. While Angelo gets all the glory, Rodney is a terrific rhythm guitarist.

- I was challenged by Ann Sheldon about the authenticity of my t- shirt. It's 100% official from back in the day but she wouldn't believe me. Obviously not one of her designs.

Good to see you all, and to bump into some of your sweaty bodies for a bit. What a top night out. I've had 25 Kinds of Love in my head ever since.
