Great to meet you James (plse pm me I've lost your address - you
wrote on a miniscule bit of paper which is probably lying on the
floor of the Fiddlers mosh pit) - another fan of The Church. How
great must that 1990 Church Gold Afternoon Fix Tour of the USA been
with the Aeroplanes (circa Swagger) as support?
It was good to meet Phil Hendry again too - watch out for his elbows!
A great gig for sure - my best ever has to be Milton Keynes Swagger
Tour 1990 just because it was the BA's heyday and my first sight of
them which I will never forget - opening with Razor Walk and
finishing with 'Breaking' and Angelo risking his life playing on top
of the mighty PA stack...but this too was one of the better BA gigs.
Mainly cos of one thing - Angelo. he is just a great guitarist - he
really came to life during Warhol's 15 - he modestly stayed out of
the limelight but you could hear him all the time playing these
beautiful parts - he IS the BA guitarist bar none. Last time I saw
him was at Nev's birthday bash gig in Shrewesbury. As someone said
to me during the gig - "he is so wasted in Massive Attack" - actually
he looked pretty wasted on Friday too but it didn't affect his
playing....
And Gerard - how can you not love this guy?
Oh - and respect to Sam Giles too - I managed to get number 2 of 50
of LIT 4 and what a gorgeous package it is. Gerard was enthusing
about it before the gig and how right he was!
Anyone out there got LIT 2 and 3 I can buy?

I got there thanks to a lift from Phil. Cheers!! Got home at 4am -
tired but worth it!
Great to have the four guitar attack for most of the set.
With six for Breaking... Who was that extra guitarist?
Not seen the band sound this good since the early '90's heyday. So
good to have Angelo back, and great duelling between him and Rodders,
Also good to hear lots of pre-Swagger stuff live again
Someone was videoing a lot of the gig. Anyone know who or what for?
Nice to meet people again (or for the first time)
Phil, PV1, Neville, Trevor, Abi (Are you gonna make those t-shirts
for everyone on the list)?
So glad I went
Thanks one and all
PS: I'm not sure if you can attach pics, but I've shrunk it right
down so we'll see...
