  Have to agree with you on this.
  I'm a few years younger than you (but not much at 43) though and started 
going to live shows in 1980 so the 80s are really my decade.
  But the 70s surely set the tone with the advent of the Sex Pistols, the 
Clash (who were a particular favorite of mine) etc.
   
  The Church were and still are one of my all time faves.  Have you seen 
Kilbey's blog?

I don't get this dising of the Harvester album. I think it's great - 
the band sound really tight (check out the the bass playing) - it 
sounds live and fresh and great production. Nice one Gerard. The 
only track hat doesn't work so well in an Aeros context is the 
Barclay james Harvest one. What about a Roy harper song as well eh 
Gerard?

Can't have it all though eh? Seeing The Only Ones tonight after 
seeing them last week in Manchester - what a band!

Oh. and while we are name dropping great bands - don't forget The 
Church eh?
