Robyn is recommended. First gig here in Oslo in 97 , 12 in the audience.
Back here, solo gig ,in 2003, great. A new gig here in July last year with
Peter Buck etc.. 100 in the audience ( He will fill a football stadium here
about 2300 or so )
Great gig last time - Robyn travelled by train from Sweden to Oslo- and
used half of the time of the gig to tell about Swedes using trampolines to
jump over the border to Norway, funny guy.
Recommended listening : Uncorrected Personality Traits.

hallo all
Sometimes it's darn hard to get into an artist after they've done so many
albums. I wouldn't have started with that album!
best albums, but we'll never convert you now anyway, for me are "respect",
"i often dream of trains", "gotta let this hen out", but he has so many
songs
recorded that there aren't many truly cohesive RH albums. probably why i
chose the above.
"liking Hitchcock... hardest game in the world, been a fan for twenty
years,
man & boy..."
Top night, but not as good musically as the one from 2yr ago which turned
into a Soft Boys gig & had me grinning for days after - the cover of
Stayin'
Alive from that night was to be treasured!!
Always a pleasure to hear Somewhere Apart & Queen of Eyes.
Was weird to see Mr Buck on a tiny stage, tho I do wish I'd gone to the
Oxford
gig to see Stipey turn up. Robyn & PB breezed past me & me mate at the
start
- I'm chatting away & then nonchalantly said to my mate, "and there's peter
buck.." LOL.
Did we see Gerard & Patrick Duff there too?
god i'm so showbiz. lol
laters...

Sorry, but this had to be said
On the continued references to Mr Hitchcock I decided to re-appraise myself
of said singer/songwriter.
Previous listens had revealed little of burning talent, but perhaps I
either
was now suitably mature, or perhaps the music got better the older he got?
So, I borrowed the library (well i wasn't going to pay for a new CD!)
'Spooked'
Eagerly I set up the system, settled back with beer in hand...
A rather Girl Guides campfire guitar motif started to annoyingly jingle...
'It'll improve with the singing' I mused...
And the first lyrics??
Bing a Bong a Bing......Bong
Bing
Bong
Bing a Bong a Bing......Bong
Bing
Bong
I'm afraid this coloured my vision of the rest of the album (in between
cleaning
up the spat out beer and wiping away the tears!)
Sorry boys, failed to convert me!
