Don't suppose we could cover punting up to the Tyne in the Thekla, a few serenades riverside ?
I could do the lights and backing vocals.

Me:
The Thekla has just been into dry dock for a refit. It was recently taken over by the same company that owns Nottingham Rock City. According to a Venue article a few weeks ago there will be more live music there when it re-opens (which it may have already done).

As for going up to the Tyne, I'm not sure if they redid the engine, which I believe is actually an old U-boat engine. IIRC Vivien Stanshall originally sailed it down to Bristol from Sunderland under a Panamanian flag, so it might remember the way back.
