Sorry Mark, but I gotta agree with Nev. It's not that Rod's songs are
that bad, it's that he has a good backing vocals voice, not a lead vocals
voice. Maybe more weird instrumentals could break up the albums.
Then again, my favourite BA's guitarist is Nick Jacobs. Aaaah the
feedback!
John Langley's drumming is inspirational (i.e. it's his fault that I
play drums ), and it's not the Aeros without him and Gerard. But I can't
imagine them without Wotjek even though I know such gigs have occured.

I was sorting out some photos this evening when I found one I took
at the Harbourside gig. Seeing it reminded me that I thought I
saw Rodney backstage during the gig and I was fully expecting
him to join the gang for BIMH. Oh well.
In case you you want to see the picture have a look at:

Well he did most if the drumming on 'altitude' (sadly not Raise the roof,
would that have had the kick it did live than the wimpy effort we hear on
CD if he did?) and did all the recent gigs, and, if I remember from earlier
emails the live members of recent gigs are the new 'planes for the next
immanent album, so that'll be a yes.
John is back.
Thank the Lord!

I think he wrote the tunes to those. I remember Gerard saying once that
the
monster riff of Broken and Mended is Rodney's. For what its worth, I'm on
the "yea" side for Rodney. Top songsmith.
