Strangelove/Patrick Duff

Given the personnel crossover between the Planes and Strangelove over the 
years (particularly the current line-up) I thought I'd take the opportunity 
to plug a tour that former Strangelove frontman Patrick Duff is doing in 
March.  Scroll down for Patrick's plea for people to turn up.  Get those 
Bristol vibes warmed up for the Planes tour!

I'm asking you to please come along and support us, not only because without 
you there isn't any spirit in the room but also because to be able to do 
this tour I have had to take on all the financial responsibility for it 
personally. This is the first time in my life I have ever risked such an 
undertaking. This means if the tour loses money I will have to pay for it. 
It costs a lot of money in travel, accommodation, drivers and expenses etc. 
to put this kind of thing together and so I need all these places to be full 
of people just to break even. Also, I cannot afford the ridiculous amount of 
money it takes to publicise in the normal way at this point in my career. I 
have however, decided to carry on anyway and I'm asking you to help me.
Come yourself, to any of the gigs you can -- bring your friends and family 
and everyone else. Tell them that there is music, poetry, passion and love 
in my heart and I'm going to spread it all over the UK.
I'm playing lots of new songs that form a new album I have started to demo 
and record. I will perform them myself accompanied by my guitar. This is a 
unique chance to witness these songs in their infancy; alive and kicking, 
terrifying and beautiful. You are going to love them. In fact you already do 
but you just don't know it yet. Please can you get e mailing anyone you know 
in these places, get them to tell their friends and e mail them; this is my 
plan see. If this tour works, it means I can come out touring again like 
this more often, which is really what I want to be able to do and how I want 
to live my life.
Please support me in this. I will give you everything I can from within my
