Here's what I know......
Tree Full of Starlings and Multinational have both
been released on sampler CDs before, the latter
several years ago and under Gerard's name, and are
both well worth owning. Multinational is just Gerard
on vocals and Ian Kearey (I think) picking away
beautifully at the acoustic guitar. Tree Full is a
slow, almost country number with nice lyrics and
female backing vocals. Written with Max Noble I
believe. They played it at Fiddlers in Dec 2004 and
Max couldn't remember the chords. Up in a Down World
has been re-recorded, and is louder, with more guitars
according to Gerard a few years ago. And Bright Star
Catalogue has been released, apparently in an
alternative form, on the Harvest sampler recently
mentioned by someone here (and already available on
itunes) - it's not very melodic but interesting anyway
for that familiar guitar mingling. Beautiful Is has
been around for years and years and Raise the Roof was
always storming live.
