  Thanks fellas. That all makes perfect sense. Think i'll pre order a 
couple from my local.
  If there's any chance of the missus getting Rodney to sign a copy at the 
gig ,we'll end up buying one there anyway.

    You're right about the shops registering sales for the charts. Gig 
sales normally cost the band money, but can get new fans to become loyal 
fans. I sell official merchandise at gigs and the amount it costs to 
transport, store, pay for a vendor and sometimes commission to the venue 
can make the band lose out. Buying the t/shirt, etc online is usually 
cheaper for the band, but you need a website first........err any news on 
how that's going?
