I think this and the Amazon thing are right, I seem to remember him telling me it'll be 2 CD's when it's re-released..?! I can vaguely remember me saying something like, "...but you've done all the Aeroplane stuff there is to do haven't you?" and Gerard laughing at me! I know he's been talking to EMI, but he's being verrrrry cagey about what he tells me just now. I guess he doesn't want to tempt fate or look stupid if it cocks up, or something (Oh, I dont know! My brain starts wandering when it all gets to technical!). Don't forget, there's still 8 more Lit's to do too (it's a 10 CD set)!

I'll find out what it's all about (Alfiiiie)...
:o)

As far as I remember EMI still own the rights to Swagger. There was talk (on here?) a couple of years ago of EMI possibly selling the rights so that it could be re-released elsewhere, but perhaps they've now decided its viable to do it themselves. If they are going to be releasing new product too, it could be that they see that a Swagger re-release would give adequate publicity for the new album.

Lord knows what will be on the second disc. There can't be many outtakes that haven't already appeared on one of the Friendloverplane comps, Weird Sh1t, or Cavaliers. Maybe a decent live show from that era? Or radio session stuff?

It's on EMI, too.

Lisa mentioned something about a potential EMI deal a few days ago.
