Good to see a few votes for King Crimson; they never stop evolving, but
I'
name 'Lizard' as my fave.
Four acts to accompany the Blue Aeroplanes? Out of all of them from
thirty
years or more of gigs? Oh all right then.
Ray Davies. Caught him in Ipswich a while back. The place was two thirds
empty, but what are you gonna do?
Seed, a really tight rocking three piece out of Redruth. We wandered in
on
them at the First and Last at Lands End.They blew our heads off.Trevor Kemp
writes all their original stuff, but they do something quite miraculous
with
Terry Jacks' 'Seasons in the Sun.'
Goldmaster Allstars, a twelve piece Ska outfit.
They backed up Bad Manners on the Friday night at Bug Jam, Santa Pod, and
really put out some energy.
The Rolling Stones, especially from a one off they played at the Brixton
Academy-to finish the Voodoo Lounge Tour in '95.
It would still be good though to see the Aeros then blow them away with
Broken and Mended, or Jacket, or ..and Stones, or etc.etc.etc-
