RE: Top 5 / BA swag

Sorry for my late entry.

These are probably my favorite shows, though most shows are usually great,
even when not perfect. The thrill of live...

In no particular order:

Tears for Fears @ The Chance, Poughkeepsie, NY - The tour without Curt
("Elemental" LP). We went to see Jellyfish open up and almost left before
TFF went on - Glad we didn't. The Chance is a small theater converted to a
club for shows.

Dramarama @ The Surf Club, NJ - We had no idea they were playing there that
night. We went with friends for the season grand opening a couple of years
back, and while standing on line we heard them playing. We said, "Wow,
they
almost sound just like Dramarama!". We walk in and there's John Easdale!

Mercury Rev @ The Bearsville Theater, Woodstock, NY - Just amazing. Being
locals, they had a lot of friends and family there, creating an even more
intimate performance.

Fish @ The Chance, Poughkeepsie, NY - Probably the last time he toured the
States. Awesome.

Wilco @ The Memorial Chapel, Schenectady, NY - Unbelievable performance and
incredible acoustics in an actual church that is now used for performances.

I'll throw in my fantasy lineup as well...

(and since it *is* a fantasy gig, I'm including bands which may be no more)

Blue Aeroplanes
PWEI (which is doing some reunion gigs in the UK, btw)
Stone Roses
Charlatans

#5 is a toss up between the Violent Femmes and Dramarama (two bands that
are
great live).

On an unrelated side-note, today is the first day in a long time that it's
been cool enough here in L.A. for me to wear my BA tour flight jacket. I've
also got a BA press kit (circa Swagger I think), a Life Model poster signed
by most of the band that played at the Troubador in L.A. a decade ago and
the license plate on my motorcycle reads BLUAERO.

What Aeroplanes swag does everyone else out there have?
