Nick: Apparently the Aeroplanes are meant to be playing a football
"stadium" in Clevedon
Me: For stadium, read "pitch" (probably - I can't imagine the need for a
stadium there!)
Nick: We chatted about Robyn Hitchcock, who is playing Bristol in December
Me: What? Where? When? Not on Hitchcock's website yet, anyway. I want
details and I want them NOW!
Nick: I asked about the Xmas gig, Gerard didn't know anything.
Me: Odd. I can't see anyone else booking the gig.
Nick: Oh and he was buying, at 11 o'clock in the morning, two bottles of
red wine.
Me: Rock'n'roll!
