Rodney made one solo album, Happy Sad. I put a bid in for a copy that
turned up on Ebay recently, but it went up well over £15, so I dipped out.
As far as I know its never had a CD re-issue.

The only time I ever saw the Blue Aeroplanes in concert was at Navy Pier in
Chicago in 1990. Was anybody else there? They opened up for The Church.
Both bands were excellent, but the Aeroplanes' 3 guitar assault, the
interpretive dancing, and Gerard's manic talk-shout-singing were what really
stood out for me. After I bought a couple of their albums, I found that I
especially enjoyed the songs penned by "Allen." Is is Rodney Allen? I
don't remember his first name. Does anyone know if he has any solo stuff
available?
