Back to the "Revolution in the Head" post, it was very sad to hear than Iain MacDonald died recently. I've not read RITH cover to cover, but I often dip into it if I fancy a bit of Beatle-y trivia. And who doesn't from time to time? There is evidently another excellent book of his around, but I forget its title.

about the Beatles...there's a fascinating time-line derived from the recording
logs at Abbey Road - throughout the 8 years they were recording the Beatles
took very few days off indeed, amazing work ethic and very surprising....
