Aha. Right down at the bottom of the email Stuart asked:

Well, with my cryptic message I was goading Paul Vallis into spilling the
beans about his chat with Gerard at the folk house. I think Paul has
mentioned it already, but if not, apologies to him for now stealing his
thunder. I shall explain.

A couple of months ago you'll all remember that Paul was DJing on a local
radio station and he interviewed Gerard. Well, he taped it, new songs and
all. At the Folk House he cornered Gerard seeking his permission to copy
it off for the splendid chaps and chapesses on our little list. Gerard
agreed on the condition that we edit the new songs - not completely, but
just so that he wasn't giving away more than a taster. This means that
Paul needs some editing software, which is where yours truly comes in.
I've been trying to arrange something with him, but he's got his hands
full at the moment. When we sort it out I'll let you all know and copies
can be made.

P.S. Okay, I confess. I fancied her too.

??! ...Have I just been smoking and drinking too much - or is this an
old post?

Still - while we' re 'ere... Ummm, yes - Folk House gig was (okay gang
- I'm gonna be honest - brace y'selves!!)... kinda interesting! Not at
all what I (nor, I suspect, half the people there!) was/were expecting,
but since the man's got a voice like melting chocolate, he could read a
Phone Book and make it sound like poetry! Enjoyed it thoroughly and many
apologies to anoyone I may have annoyed by mis-timed bouts of conversation
conflicting with the quiet bits! (Yep - that was me - gobby blonde at the
front - sorry 'bout that!). Hands up any man who DIDN'T fancy the singer
of the support act?!

:) Gereard said sommin about the new CD to me, but to be honest - I was
a bit drunk and can't remember what he said! S'pect it'll be marvellous!

Right - back to work then! Love to all!
