It`s alright, it`s alright. It`s better than alright.

Hello again.
No time to respond too much to the maelstrom of cris-crossing words that
has been whipping around of late, but I`ve got a few things to say before
I
head off for a couple of weeks holiday (a week of that in Bristol - too
late, too late...!! and, indeed, too early...).
1. Damian and Giancarlo - Here are my addresses (pick the most suitable)
for
tapes:
     13 Dundonald Road
     Redland
     Bristol BS6 7LN
     UK

     BASG
     Komenskeho 215
     Sucany
     038 52
     Slovakia

  - in return, I will attempt to run off a couple of copies of the
recently
mentioned "Weird Shit" Aeroplanes cassette while I am in Bristol - time
and
equipment allowing - if you do not already own this. I bought it (from a
limited edition of 100, I think) at a gig at the Mean Fiddler a few years
back, and it contains various unpublished (beautiful) oddities from a wide
time period. Far from being "handed out" at the gig in question, I spent
my
beer money for the night and my bus fare home to purchase it. You will be
unsurprised to discover that it was worth every penny (and many more
besides). I`ll also try to do a copy for anyone who feels able to
distribute
this little gem more thoroughly.

2. Am listening to Swagger right now. As already reported, I love "Your
Ages" to distraction - especially the lyrics - but I have NEVER been able
to
decifer Rodney`s lines (the "chorus") - can anyone help me here?
Also - it and "Picture Framed" are the only Swagger songs I`ve never
heard live - has anyone heard (recorded?) them live??

3. Future Aeroplanes gigs. Does anyone hold any sway with young master
Langley as to the dating of future concerts? If they do, do they think
that
they could put in a word for July / early August of next year as an IDEAL
time for a Bristol gig - be it latest line-up, Swagger reunion,
whatever....
Don`t make me cry (again), Gerard....

4. I`m sorry. Did someone say Northside........? Lordy.

5. Favourite drummers. John Langley. Nuff said.

6. I`m trying to rehabilitate "Life Model", but I can`t get past the
feeling
of disappointment I felt when I first heard it after loving the earlier
albums SO MUCH. Suggestions? (and nobody mention T`Pau again)

Festive / Millenial greetings and all that.

See you in a couple of weeks,
                                                      Phill..........
