On the subject of spotting Stipe on 'What it is'...
The version on friendloverplane II (I think) has the vocal
of Stipe mixed much louder - and much better if you ask me.
Can someone please inform me what this 'Wierd Shit' is all
about. Someone else asked this a while back but I never saw
a response. Pray tell.

PS Off to Leeds tomorrow for the gig. Any chance of meeting
up with anyone (I'm meeting Nora at the venue bar at 8.00 -
hope I'm conspicuous). Where is this other bar that was
mentioned (elbow something?).
