About 10 years ago when he was at his peak (if you can call it that) Noel
Edmonds was asked to do a series for American TV based on the kind of
thing he insists on doing over here.
He did a pilot show which went very well other than the fact that he kept
going up to members of the audience and asking "How are you getting on?".
This caused quite a few unintentional laughs until someone explained it to
him at the end of the programme. The series was never made.

Similarly "Get it on" by T-Rex was released as "Bang a gong" in the US.
