being disappointed or surprised

I guess I can answer my own question now...huh?

as for not being too thrilled about seeing a band and
coming away happy I will go with the La's.

I sort of thought they were really pop silly young
boys and I had a friend who liked them sooo much that
I was determined to not like them.
BUT when they toured the States in 90 or 91 I had free
passes to see them in Atlanta and went.
I had such a good time seeing them, that their music
was transformed in my mind and I loved them.
I consider "There She Goes" a pop gem now.
And in turn liked Cast as well.

as for loving a band and coming away disappointed,
hmmm...that is tough, I guess I remember only the good
shows. I'll have to think longer about that part of
it.

as for Strangelove...I must admit to not caring for
Patric's voice or melodramatic lyrics - I love the
music and can deal with him sometimes...but not
always.
and I do think he could be scarey!
