If anyone blew rock and roll wide open (what ever that means) it was the
Beatles. Made it a global economy. Dylan may have blew folk music wide
open,
and Lou Reed made a number of classic records which were widely ignored
for
10 years. The Doors too were a cult thing until Danny Sugerman wrote his
no-one gets out of here alive semi-fictious autobiography. without that
they'd be nothing.

Sincere apologies everyone that I've been sending so much rubish mail
today.
Practically nothing to do at the moment. I'm in Holland doing some work
for
once next week so you should have a welcome respite from my pointless
witterings.
