Sorry Rich!
I guess I got my back up pretty quickly, my boyfriend
is an American musician see...
I see you have a good list going there!
Yo La Tengo of course (I am a NJite myself!),
Patti Smith, Tom Waits, American Music Club and Mark
Eitzel, Game Theory, Lets Active, dBs, Bob Mould, X
- etc and so on....its late and I can't think!
as for radio, well, is popular British radio really
any better? Spice Girls are one thing that comes to
mind....
although I do know their VH1 played alot better videos
when I was in England last....
and I didn't intend to insult any English folk
directly with the pretty boy statement...I love all
those British invasion bands myself.
I guess I just get tired of people knocking American
music - I love music because I like it, not because of
where its from!
peace!
no hard feelings?
kate
