All I know about that tour is that Michael Stipe was a
huge Planes fan and pushed his weight around to get
Athens as a tour stop.  I am forever grateful to him
for that.

I have no idea how the bands got hooked up to tour
other than some booking agent thinking "oh wow, they
go together".

Don't even get me started on lyrics...I'll have to get
back to you on some of those...too many - too many
memories...
