Lafayette gig

The announcement of this gig in July, in London, received with relief, indicating health and optimism. Beatsongs extended re-issue shortly, with a focus on the resurgence of interest and sales of the vinyl format. The markets can never baulk demand. Something about the precision of placing stylus to groove, and the breathless moment before the music actually kicks in that CD format never quite had, but a younger generation obviously has; CD was an interesting concept/tool and near killed vinyl, but was ultimately flawed in so many physical ways, so is perhaps unlikely to ever challenge us again ! Wondering whether to by Beatsongs vinyl at the gig in July, or whether to support my local vinyl store and buy it there. Impossible dilemma.
