Hi Chris, just a thought,
Having never made it down to the Fleece from sunny Scotland, I have no idea
of its logistics and layout, but...
Given that they sound likely to approve the conversion and change of use,
is there the remotest possibility of some kind of settlement made in
advance whereby the venue is given industrial strength soundproofing at the
expense of the developer?
Thus keeping a significant local business and social centre alive for the
new residents?
Or are they planning an old people's home?
