Yeah I remember at the time Ups was a real step forward for the band, and
was a fixture of the live set for a few years. As a track based around a
classic cyclic riff from Angelo it was very much a forerunner of And...
Stones.

Really looking forward to the new album - all three songs they played in
Bristol were as strong as any of their previous output, and Walking Under
Ladders sounds like an obvious single:

In general plane mode after the terrific Glasgow gig on Wednesday and
listening to the nectar masters best of 85-88 CD, mainly to remind myself
of what a great live opener action painting was... And consequently notice
ups has to be one of the best aero's songs ever.
Just love the early sound
I'd cheerfully cough up to see the band here every month, but at least can
we have some vague commitment to an action painting 30th anniversary gig
north of the border in 2015?
