great concert last night, really really good.

Perhaps it was the old 'hits', all of them one after another - so more
full on guitair riffs than recent years
perhaps it was becuse they played most of my fav's (bar pony boy!)
perhaps it was the new band, all well tuned
perhaps it was the 3 new tracks, all cracking rocky tunes, looking good
for the future
perhaps its becky on guitair, certainly better looking than gerald! (have
to explain to my wife why the photo i took of the concert was me with a
young lass not born till the BA's had released 4 albums!)
perhaps it was wojciech already his jeans soaked with sweat by the 3rd song
perhaps it was the decent crowd giving back some good vibes (I've sadly
not yet made the pilrimage to a bristol concert)
perhaps it was seing chris playing with his favourate band and clearly
loving every second (good vocal performance on rodney's 'fun' as well!)

whatever, it was a cracker of a concert, and I am SO jelous of all you
there tonight in bristol for what should be a brilliant gig.

Not sure i need a best of singles album as have all the songs all in
triplicate, but a CD of this singles tours concert?....released as a dulxe
version perhaps?

Set list was

Action painting

...and stones (x1.5 times!)
you are loved

lover+confoident

Good news. Will miss Brizz gig this year, but if earlier Singles are in
the rep, hope some early faces turn up in London on saturday. Nick Jacobs
AND Ian Kearey have graced such gatherings in recent years.
Break a leg, guys and gals, see you saturday.

Superb show last night in Glasgow and great to see so many folk there.
Loved hearing the early pre-Swagger stuff. Would loved to have heard Veils
of Colour but ho hum, Detective Song wasn't a bad alternative. You Are
Loved was brilliant live.
I agreed with the guy in the crowd who shouted out - The Blue Aeroplanes
do not need to do so many cover versions (Boy in the Bubble, Bad Moon
Rising, Breaking in my Heart). There are so many original songs I would
want to want to hear first. Interesting the shout outs that weren't played
- Your Ages, Cardboard Box,  Jazz Baby (!!), Maybe next time.
Anyone know who the old boy down the front was?.Seen him at the last 2
Aeroplanes gigs in Glasgow. Definitely give Wojtek a run for his money in
the throwing shapes department..
Would be great if this tour could become an annual thing.  Hopefully see
you next year.
p.s.  hope the band made it back over the border ok. Bit blowy up here
today.

Great show in Glasgow last night - Bury your love the standout and some
new tracks which stood up pretty well next to the wall of (ahem) "hits".
Thanks for coming to Scotland again.
