I remember that game really well. What a match!

On another subject, we just had a tweet from the London promoter saying
the Blue Aeroplanes gig at the Water Rats has limited tickets left so we
expect this gig to sell out soon...

I shall be there. Great band!

The first time I saw them was at the Fleece about the time their first lp
came out in 2005. It was the same night that Liverpool beat AC Milan in
the Champions League Final, coming back from 3-0 down at half time to 3-3
then winning on penalties. My dad was in the BRI at the time so I went to
the hospital to watch the match with him, then came down to the Fleece for
the gig, so I missed the extra time and penalties. My dad had nodded off
by then anyway!

You didn't need to know any of that, but it's Sunday, so I thought I'd
share.

Subject: [BluePlanes] Tonight At The Fleece

Hi

I try not to spam the aeros list too often with Fleece gigs but tonight we
have the fabulous ART BRUT playing. Singer Eddie Argos once listed The
Blue Aeroplanes version of Top Of The Pops as one of the songs from his
school days that first got him into music.

You can clearly hear the influence!

We're all going along. Would be great to see one or two of you there too…

Chris
