I went round Gerard's last night to get the files ready for the 
Anti-Gravity CD2 mastering session we have booked for today. As I was 
about to leave he casually mentioned that Cherry Red had sent him a test 
copy of the remastered Beatsongs which had arrived on Friday morning. He 
played me the first track (the only one he's had time to listen to so 
far). It sounded amazing. No - really amazing! So much more powerful and 
dynamic than the original mix. I'm dying to hear how the likes of 
Cardboard Box and My Hurricane are going to sound.

So what this all means ladies and gents is we are about to be treated to a 
full on remastered Beatsongs Deluxe double CD with bonus rare and 
unreleased tracks on Cherry Red records at some point over the next few 
months. Woo-hoo! Sounds like a great excuse for a spring/summer gig to me!!
