Hi David
This new Travelodge is about 30 seconds walk from The Fleece. If you book
early you can get a family room for about £40

http://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/521/Bristol-Central-Mitchell-Lane-hotel

If you don't mind sharing a dorm room you can get a bed at The Lanes for
about £20

Hope that helps!

Chris
