I did think about Pat 'Jazz Butcher' Fish - I don't know why I didn't
mention him in the email.

I don't think anything particularly bad went down at Glastonbury per se,
as I understand it (and I may be wrong) it was just the culmination of
tensions within a band that had been on the road for quite a while.

And let's have less of this "if even you don't know". There are far
greater authorities on the Planes that I - and that probably includes you!

Thanks Paul, I don't feel so bad about my ignorance if even you don't
know. It isn't Alex. It isn't Andy McCreeth. I thought it could be Dave
Chapman, but it isn't him either. It is Susie Hug, though. The answers
come courtesy of a comment under the youtube clip. The vid is now featured
on the official BA website, wherein that line-up is revealed, from the
horse's mouth. Check it out if you want, but basically, they areBob
Bradley LeadDave Newton GuitarsMarcus Williams BassJazz
Butcher Guitar The rest we know. Some unfamiliar names, and not
a line-up that appeared very often, but my ! they give Bad Moon a good
lashing, some nifty licks from Bob Bradley on the Strat. Some bad shit
must have gone down at Glasto that year, but it's good to reflect that
most of them have kissed and made up since. Gonna play it again now,
because it's such a fine day. G

Susie Hug? Have heard the name. I went abroad for a couple of years in
early 1992 so I would have missed that line-up. She looks like she's
enjoying herself anyway!

Great find - thanks for sharing!
I'm pretty sure that's Susie Hug (O-o-o-o-o-o-open) and the
Beatsongy->Life Modelly line up

The line-up is interesting. Gerard, Rodney, Wojtek, Alex Lee. I'm pretty
sure it's Paul Mulreany on drums, but less sure that it's Andy McCreeth on
bass. Presumably this will be the second half of 1992 as it isn't the
line-up that toured (but didn't necessarily play on) Beatsongs, as that
splintered after the Glastonbury Pyramid stage performance, bits of which
keep cropping up in the early hours on BBC digital radio stations.

Gerard refers to "When Dave's finished tuning up, he will start it". Is
that Dave Chapman? Looks quite like him. Not sure who the woman is -
it's not Hazel Winter, who was one of those who split after Glastonbury
along with Angelo. There's a tall chap playing acoustic too - I think he
only comes on for BMR, I didn't notice him during the And Stones bit at
the start. Maybe just a mate who knew the chords!

Was looking at the BA stuff on youtube last night. Obviously haven't done
that for a while, because 'Bad Moon Rising', filmed at the old T&C in '92
has surfaced. Fantastic stuff for a CCR and BA fan. One of the only
recordings of the BA's I haven't got, but that's by the by. Looking at the
line-up in the video...... I can't place many of the names.
Gerard, Rodney and Wojtek, obviously. It's Paul Mulreany era on drums, so
that will be him. Andy McCreeth on Bass ? Alex Lee is there, I think. Who
are the others ? We were there on the night, but I was less anorak, more
mosher, in those days. It was twenty years ago !!! Great upload, filmed by
ITV,
apparently. Where is the rest of the gig ? G
