Mine has it too. I always assumed it was deliberate.
Hello,
I think I read a review that said that the pops and crackles are deliberate.
Thanks Matthew
I now have an acceptable quality vinyl rip of the album to wmv format (playable on any cd player).
The only glitch I have found is some pops and crackles on the opening 10 seconds of sulphur - and as the rip is from only the second play of the album I have to assume it's on the vinyl - so not a lot I can do about that ... everything else is mint ... all I have to do is get the track listing into the right running order ....
question is what to do with it now ....
