This is the sort of pedantry up with which I shall not put!

Considering the dropped letters in my last missive, I'm pretty sure I
propositioned by omission.

Thanks

Surely not, you ended with a proposition?

Is it an artistic or a financial decision? I've never quite understood
the reason to do the vinyl only. If it's financial, is this something a
Kickstarter cpaign could help with? (Mastering costs and/or a dowload
site, bandwidth, tax, etc) Is it still wrong to end a sentence with a
preposition?

Thanks

Yep, I agree. I would love a copy and the minute I could buy the real
deal, I would (as I have with everything else by them I have).

I for one would love a copy, and yes I would immediately purchase the
CD/download when officially released. I have never illegally downloaded
anything, & am a firm believer in respecting copyright. That said, I agree
totally with your sentiments about the band’s attitude to anti-gravity, I
cannot understand why the band are saying you have to spend £80 on a
record deck to listen to their music – it’s pretty insulting actually.

Ok folks..........

I'll admit it...........

I have a digital copy of 'Anti-Gravity'

Will I buy the CD when it eventually surfaces?

Of course I would, I have every other album they have ever released on CD
(plus numerous vinyl versions of said CD's too) and wouldn't stop now....

For one thing I don't have any art work and no lyrics, and i always like
those, call me old fashioned, I like a box....

Would I feel guilty if you ask me for a copy and I burnt you one?

Yes and No

I have never knowingly downloaded music illegally, don't ask me why, I'm
certainly not averse to pilfering, but with music it simply isn't
something I do.

Years of spending days on end in sweaty-smelling record shops hunting for
an obscurity has probably altered my DNA

I'd happily nick a CD off a mate and burn it, and if it turns out to be
the dog's bollocks I'll go and buy it cheap on eBay and add it to my CD
collection

But I'd be deeply unhappy to take revenue from the BA's.

God only knows they've given me more fun than any other band I can think
of and I owe them my undying support and thanks, via the only way I
can...giving them money.

But in this instance it's simply getting beyond a joke that there still is
no method other than asking someone like me to give you a copy of a
digital version.

I still do not understand this decision, and know how bloody frustrating
it is not to hear the new material

So, if I believed, like myself, you WOULD spend another £10 on a CD
version when it came out then I'd be happy to burn you a copy.

But at the same time I REALLY don't want to piss the band off.

Chris, John D on merch and especially John L (I know you read these) I'd
be very interested in your views on this contentious matter

As to the rest of you.....discuss!!

I like Jell-o. Er, Jelly.

So when's Gerard gonna write his novel then? "My Life As Mistaken By John
Sessions."

Thanks

I'm not happy about not being able to hear the new album, but I'll wait.
It will make it all the sweeter when I finally get hold of a copy. I'll
be buying an official one - because I'm nice and because I have other
bands to fill my ears until that day. There's a decision been made that
we maybe wouldn't have made ourselves. It just makes me more excited for
the (hopefully!) eventual release. Sorry to be a fence-sitter ;)
