Re: Antigravity CD

In the internet age anyone can publish or distribute any piece of work they
want, Soundcloud, for example. I simply don't understand why the Aeros are
doing this. There are loads of bands with niche followings that self
distribute via the web, even some big ones. At the very least, Anti Gravity
should be available as a digital download somewhere so that fans who listen
to music via iPods etc can get their fix without breaching copyright. I
refuse to buy a record deck simply because one of my favourite bands are so
up their own arses that they can't be bothered to make their music
available
to their fans.

Chris Kemp:

I agree. I'm an author and my first book will be published next spring. So
I
suppose that makes me an artist too. I'm struggling to find ways to get
people to read it. I can't imagine thinking to myself: this took me a long
time and I'm proud of it, how can I make it as frustrating and inaccessible
as possible for potential readers.

Me:
Congratulations on imminent publication, Chris! In 30 years time, when
you're a successful niche author and everybody has Kindles, you should get
a
book published and printed on papyrus.
