All the Talents

  • Subject: All the Talents
  • From: Gordon Wilhelmi <Gordon.Wilhelmi@ro...org.uk>

Thanks for the heads up about start time, Nick and John, wouldn't have
wanted to have missed any of last night's fayre.
Terrific line-up, terrific Set. If we missed Rodney, we were compensated
with Nick Jacobs and Ian Keary, the latter weaving in, out and around the
songs, at one point duck-walking through the melee whilst spinning out a
Chuck Berry riff.

Highlight, for me, was Gerard inviting Nick up to front 'Severn Beach'.
Angelo was sonic, as usual, through Weightless....and Stones. 'Sulphur'
stands out from the new album as a live number, it has a very american
sound to it. Wonder if there was any influence from the Austin trips ?

They really are on top form these days.

According to their Facebook page, they're on at 9.30, with an 11pm curfew.
