Superb evening ! Band in great form. Good to get 'A Map Below', 'Veils of
Colour'. Thought Max seemed to be goading Angelo into an axe duel, but
this brought out some truly magical playing from both men. A great
reception for Rodney, 'Worry Beads' was excellent. Had expected a more or
less complete airing of the new album, but of the few they played
'Sulphur' really stood out, for me. Missed all the support rosta, for the
good company of PV's, NW1, and Julian, late of this List. Good sound at
Fleece, and good sounds post gig.
Nice one guys.

PS  Irrespective of all other considerations, I find the vinyl offering of
'Anti-Gravity' to be a thing of great beauty.

Agree - best gig for years. There's no doubt that with Angelo in it the
band ratchet up several gears - he is awesome and so were the rest. Colour
Me and My Hurricane - wow. Have they ever done the latter before live?  I
certainly haven't heard it.

Loved the new songs too especially Sulphur.

Yeah - Fantastic gig - I reckon the best I've seen the band for many
years. First time they've played "Sweet Jane" for many years! New songs
sounding ace too!

The vinyl will get a listen tomorrow!
