Hello,
Will it be same line up for the gig at the Garage? Also will the album be
available there too? Can't make the Bristol show but have a few days off
early June so London's a distinct possibility.

Subject: [BluePlanes] WE'RE BACK!!

Hi All
Been busting to post for ages. The newsgroup has been down for a few weeks
but fortunately has now been restored. Thank you Steve!!
Right then...
The new album is only 2 weeks away. We got the white label test pressings
back last week and it sounds fabulous. It was a very strange feeling
hearing songs I've been involved in the recording of start with the sound
of a needle dropping into the grooves of a real record. A personal first!
...and a very moving moment too.
Just you wait until you see it in all it's 12" gatefold glory. It's so
much better seeing a new album in a format that you can really get your
hands around. A work of art indeed!
So on to the gig. Full confirmed line up...
Gerard LangleyJohn LangleyRodney AllenMax NobleAngelo BruschiniGerard
StarkeyRita LynchChris SharpWojtek Dmsjdhfewfhw (sorry but I can be
bothered to look up the spelling!)
Probably a guest appearance from Dave Chapman too.
The inclusion of Angelo (currently between tours for Massive Attack) means
you can expect a few classic tracks which have been missing from the live
set up for quite a while. You can probably guess which ones!! There are a
few surprises in there too as usual including 2 or 3 personal favourites
(one of which, speaking as a fan rather than a bass player, I've waited 19
years to hear live)
Well I hope that's enough to whet your appetites for the launch gig at The
Fleece on Friday 20th May (less than 2 weeks away). To be honest the
ticket sales have been slow so far. I'm hoping this is partly down to the
lack of a newsgroup for the last 6 weeks. It's a tenner in advance but
£15 on the door so do yourselves a favour and get your tickets in now.
For anyone on facebook here's the event.
