My thoughts too....

How about (by way of a 'sweetener'), and as it's the 'festive season' 
etc., 
Gerard/ band offering a taster of the new CD? (to all us esteemed fans via 
the 
web-site); maybe 'samples' of a couple of tracks! (or whole CD would be 
even 
better!!).

Just a thought (as it's nearly Crimbo). I'd deem it a 'nice gesture'.
