Thanks for the heads up, Chris.
Will try and make the Cracker gig. Wednesdays are usually a bad night for
me but I will try and rearrange things for this one. Camper Van
Beethoven's "Take The Skinheads Bowling" is one of the best singles ever.
In other news, ex-Plane Hazel Winter is playing at The Thunderbolt in
Bristol (same place the Planes played their pre-SXSW show) next Saturday
13 November. Not totally sure what the set will consist of - she has
recently been doing a series of "Bleak Blog" videoblogs on YouTube, but
there is also her third album "Situation Normal Then" to promote. Likely
to be great, whatever she does.
Support is from Thomas Truax, who I saw at the Fleece the other week as
support at Hazel Mills' album launch gig. He was great, and had some
truly amazing Heath Robinson musical instruments on stage with him.
